Abstract

For positioning it onto an operating plate (3), the fitting exhibits a surface and a fastening shank (7) which projects beyond the positioning surface. Once the fitting has been positioned, the fastening shank (7) passes through an opening in the operating plate (3). A nut (6) is screwed onto the fastening shank (7). Further provided is a mounting kit (4,5) composed of a mounting plate (4), which can be placed around the fastening shank (7) and can press against the underside of the operating plate (3), and of spacing rings (5) which can be placed around the fastening shank (7). One of the spacing rings (5) is adjacent to the mounting plate (4) and another spacer ring is adjacent to the nut (6). The rest of the spacer rings (5) are located therebetween in a number which is inversely proportional to the thickness of the operating plate (3). <IMAGE>
