LA SECCION DE SALIDA ES UN BIFURCADOR DE MODO QUE TIENE UN CANAL DE SALIDA MONOMODAL (3) PARA LA SEÑAL DE SALIDA SO Y UN CANAL INACTIVO MONOMODAL (4) QUE SE DESVIA MAS ALLA DE LA DISTANCIA DE INTERACCION (D). EL CANAL DE SALIDA (3) TIENE UNA CONSTANTE DE PROPAGACION INFERIOR A LA DEL CANAL INACTIVO (4).
