EL METODO PUEDE UTILIZARSE PARA MEDIR DIRECTAMENTE EL GRADO DE CORROSION QUE OCURRE EN EL AGUA DE LAS CALDERAS, Y PUEDE MEDIR LOS NIVELES DE CORROSION EN LA PRESENCIA DE QUIMICOS DE TRATAMIENTO DE AGUA DE CALDERAS. EL METODO UTILIZA UN COMPLEJO FORMADO ENTRE SOLAMENTE ION FERROSO Y UN REACTIVO MONOHIDRATO DE ACIDO 3-(2-PIRIDILO)-5,6 -DIFENILO-1,2,4-TRIACINO-P,P''-DISULFONICO.
