Abstract

The soft pack (1) is made from a foil wrap and encloses a rectangular stack of tissues. One end side has a tear tab (7) at the centre of one edge to open the pack between thumb and finger. Each side of the tab has tear lines (9) along the pack edge which rip when the top tissue is pulled out, and which close to protect the remainder of the pack. The tear tab has a circular shape and extends for about a third of the edge width in the centre of the end edge. The tear lines are produced by perforations. For an improved closing action the tear lines are positioned approx. 2mm. in from the edge on the flat top of the pack. <IMAGE>
