EL CATALIZADOR Y UNA PARTE DE LOS HUMOS DE REGENERACION SON TOMADOS EN EL LECHO DENSO DE UN REGENERADOR (1) E INTRODUCIDOS POR GRAVEDAD EN UN INTERCAMBIADOR EXTERNO EN UN PUNTO DE UNION POR DEBAJO DEL NIVEL DEL LECHO DENSO DEL REGENERADOR. EL INTERCAMBIO TERMICO SE REALIZA EN LA PARTE INFERIOR DEL INTERCAMBIADOR POR DEBAJO DEL PUNTO DE UNION. SE REALIZA DESDE EL EXTREMO INFERIOR DEL INTERCAMBIADOR HASTA POR ENCIMA DEL PUNTO DE UNION UNA ZONA DE LECHO DENSO CUYO NIVEL SE ESTABLECE SENSIBLEMENTE A LA ALTURA DEL LECHO DENSO EN EL REGENERADOR Y UNA ZONA DE DESENGANCHE (15) DE LOS GASES DE REGENERACION Y DEL GAS DE FLUIDIZACION, DE VOLUMEN APROPIADO.
