EN UNA TURBINA DUPLEX COAXIAL EN LA QUE ESTA PREVISTA UNA TURBINA DE WALES EN LA CARA PERIFERICA INTERIOR, SE FORMA UN PRIMER FLUJO DE FLUIDO ANULAR POR EL GIRO DE DICHA TURBINA DE WALES Y UN SEGUNDO FLUJO DE FLUIDO SE FORMA RADIALMENTE POR FUERA DEL PRIMER FLUJO COMO SI GIRARA OTRA TURBINA PREVISTA SOBRE LA CARA PERIFERICA EXTERIOR. EN EL MOMEMTO DE LA PUESTA EN MARCHA, UNA TURBINA SOBRE LA CARA PERIFERICA EXTERIOR COMIENZA A GIRAR PRIMERO, LA SALIA DE ESTA TURBINA ACCIONA EL COMPRESOR Y UN FLUIDO ACELERADO Y COMPRIMIDO ES ALIMENTADO EN LOS ALABES HUECOS DE LA TURBINA DE DICHA TURBINA DE WALES Y A CONTINUACION DESCARGADO A TRAVES DE UN PASADIZO CURVADO HACIA EL LATERAL DEL BORDE POSTERIOR DE UN ALABE. SEMEJANTE ESTRUCTURA PRETENDE MEJORAR LA FUNCION DE AUTO-ARRANQUE Y LA EFICACIA DE LA CONVERSION DE LA ENERGIA DE LA TURBINA DE WALES. EL APARATO DE ESTA INVENCION ES USADO PRINCIPALMENTE PARA UN GENERADOR DE ENERGIA ACTIVADO POR ONDA.
