LAS VALVULAS (64, 68) CONTROLAN LA PROVISION Y LA RETIRADA DE LA MUESTRA DE FLUIDO PARA EFECTUAR DIFERENTES MODOS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL MONITOR, UN MODO DE COMPROBACION NORMAL Y AL MENOS DOS MODOS DE CALIBRACION. UNA FUENTE (3) SUMINISTRA LA ENERGIA DE MICROONDAS HASTA UNA PRIMERA ANTENA (7) QUE A SU VEZ SUMINISTRA LA ENERGIA DE MICROONDAS A LA MUESTRA DE FLUIDO EN UNA CELDA DE COMPROBACION. UNA SEGUNDA ANTENA (9) RECIBE LA ENERGIA DE MICROONDAS QUE HA PASADO A TRAVES DE LA MUESTRA DE FLUIDO.
