Abstract
This system follows a conventional absorption refrigeration cycle in which the exhaust gases of an engine-driven vehicle pass via a heat exchanger and heat a thermal oil to a temperature in excess of 100 degree C. In the absorption and condensation stages, use is made of air as refrigerating and condensing fluid. This system applies to the cooling of urban buses, intercity buses and lorry cabs.
