COMPRENDE: (A) FORMACION DE UN ACETAL DE UN RAMNOGLUCOSIDO SOBRE EL GRUPO GLICOLICO DE L-RAMNOSA; (B) RUPTURA OXIDATIVA DEL AGRUPAMIENTO 1,2-DIOLICO LIBRE CON UN AGENTE OXIDANTE; (C) HIDROLISIS DEL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO SIN AFECTAR AL AGRUPAMIENTO ACETAL DE LA L-RAMNOSA; (D) HIDROLISIS DEL ACETAL PARA OBTENER L-RAMNOSA LIBRE. EL PROCEDIMIENTO TIENE IMPORTANTE REPERCUSION INDUSTRIAL DADO QUE PERMITE OBTENER L-RAMNOSA LIBRE FACILMENTE PURIFICABLE Y QUE LOS SUBPRODUCTOS PUEDEN APROVECHARSE INDUSTRIALMENTE.
