EL INTERCAMBIADOR DE CALOR ESTA DIVIDIDO EN UN NUMERO DE ZONAS, DENTRO DE LAS CUALES SE MANTIENE LA MISMA PRESION. LA PRESION EN EL LADO DE CONDENSACION DE CADA ZONA ES IGUAL QUE LA PRESION EN LA SALIDA DEL LADO DE VAPORIZACION DE UN ELEMENTO ADYACENTE QUE OPERA A TEMPERATURA MAS ALTA. LAS DIFERENCIAS DE TEMPERATURAS ENTRE LAS ZONAS CORRESPONDE A LA DIFERENCIA DE PRESION HIDROSTATICA EN LA COLUMNA DE AGUA (15,20) EN LAS PLACAS DE REDUCCION DE PRESION COLOCADAS ENTRE LAS ZONAS.
