EXISTEN ISOTOPOS QUE SE DESINTEGRAN CON LA PRODUCCION CONCURRENTE DE UN POSITRON Y DE UN GAMA-FOTON, CON UNA POSTERIOR ANHILACION POSITRON-ELECTRON QUE PRODUCE PARES DE GAMAS 511 KEV CON MOMENTOS OPUESTOS. EL DETECTOR COINCIDENTE GAMA-FOTON REGISTRA UNA CUENTA CUANDO SON DETECTADOS GAMA-FOTONES COINCIDENTES DE ENERGIAS CONOCIDAS.
