LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO DE ELECTRODEPOSICION SOBRE UNA SUPERFICIE DE UN SUSTRATO DE ACERO DE UNA CAPA DE UN REVESTIMIENTO DE UNA ALEACION METALICA A BASE DE CINC, DEL TIPO ZNX, SIENDO X EL SEGUNDO ELEMENTO DE ESTA ALEACION. EL PROCESO CONSISTE EN DEPOSITAR, ENTRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL SUSTRATO Y LA CAPA DE REVESTIMIENTO DE DICHA ALEACION, UNA CAPA DE SUBREVESTIMIENTO DE DICHA ALEACION CON UN PORCENTAJE DEL SEGUNDO ELEMENTO X TAL QUE EL POTENCIAL DE REDUCCION DE DICHA ALEACION DE DICHA CAPA DE SUBREVESTIMIENTO RESPECTO DE UN ELECTRODO DE CALOMEL SATURADO ES SUPERIOR O IGUAL O SENSIBLEMENTE INFERIOR AL POTENCIAL DE LIBERACION DE HIDROGENO SOBRE EL ACERO DEL SUSTRATO. PARA OBTENER EL PORCENTAJE DEL SEGUNDO ELEMENTO X DESEADO.
