POR MEDIO DE LA UTILIZACION DE ONDAS DE CHOQUE EN LUGAR DE UN AGITADOR PARA EL MEZCLADO DE LAS SUSTANCIAS DE REACCION SE OBTIENE UN CATALIZADOR ZIEGLER EN FORMA DE BOLA, ESPECIALMENTE UNIFORME. POR MEDIO DE ESTE CATALIZADOR ALTAMENTE ACTIVO SOBRE LA BASE DE UN DIALQUIL DE MAGNESIO, PUEDE OBTENERSE MEDIANTE LA POLIMERIZACION DE ALFA BOLA. UNA OTRA VENTAJA DEL CATALIZADOR DE ACUERDO CON LA INVENCION SE ENCUENTRA EN LA ALTA ACTIVIDAD DE CATALIZADOR, DE FORMA QUE SOLAMENTE ES NECESARIA UNA CANTIDAD MUY REDUCIDA DEL CATALIZADOR PARA LA POLIMERIZACION. EL CONTENIDO EN LOS RESTOS EN TITANIO Y/O ZIRCONIO EN LOS POLIMEROS ELABORADOS DE ACUERDO CON LA INVENCION ALCANZA MENOS DE 10 PPM. POR MEDIO DE SU BUENA REACCIONABILIDAD CON AGUA EL CATALIZADOR ES APROPIADO ESPECIALMENTE EN PROCESOS DE DOS ETAPAS PARA LA ELABORACION DE POLIMEROS CON UNA DISTRIBUCION DE MASA MOLAR BIMODAL, AMPLIA. LA SUSTITUCION DE DONADORES DE ELECTRONES QUE CONTIENEN AZUFRE COMO SULFITO DE DIETILO POR ALCOHOLES COMO ETANOL CONDUCE A UNA CARGA DE OLOR REDUCIDA Y A POSIBILIDADES DE UTILIZACION AMPLIADAS DEL POLIMERO.
