UN DISPOSITIVO VARIADOR DE VELOCIDAD, PERFECCIONADO, que comprendiendo una polea de radio de acción variable, mediante la separación o aproximación por desplazamiento axial de los dos platos cónicos que la constituyen, se caracteriza esencialmente porque uno de los platos (1) de la polea se encuentra acuñado sobre el árbol de giro (2), mientras que el otro plato (3), girando libre sobre dicho árbol (2), se encuentra retenido axilmente por un soporte (4), con intermediación de un rodamiento (5), cuyo soporte (4) se encuentra relacionado con la extremidad (6) de una palanca (7) que, articulada alrededor de un eje transversal (8) al de la polea, presenta su extremo opuesto (9) relacionado con un dado (10) o tuerca acoplada al cuerpo de un husillo (11) de modo que el giro del husillo (11) a través del correspondiente mando de accionamiento manual, consigue un desplazamiento gradual de dicho dado (10), determinando a través de dicha palanca (7) diferentes posiciones irreversibles de separación entre dichos platos de la polea (1 y 3).
