EL DPTB SE HACE REACCIONANDO DIPROPILENO GLICOL CON ISOBUTILENO EN LA PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR ACIDO Y LA MEZCLA DEL PRODUCTO INCLUYE IMPUREZAS DE ETER BUTILO DI-TERCIARIO DERIVADAS DE DIPROPILENO GLICOL. EL PROCESO DE PURIFICACION COMPRENDE DESTILACION EXTRACTORA DE LA MEZCLA DEL PRODUCTO USANDO UN AGENTE EXTRACTOR DE GLICOL, PREFERIBLEMENTE DIPROPILENO GLICOL, QUE PERMITE LA ELIMINACION DE IMPUREZAS DE ETER DITERT-BUTILO COMO UN PRODUCTO EVAPORADO, Y LA DESTILACION DEL PRODUCTO DPTB PARA SEPARARLO DEL AGENTE EXTRACTOR DE GLICOL.
