PROCEDIMIENTO DE OBTENCION Y USO DEL MEDIO DE CULTIVO DIFERENCIAL Y DE ENUMERACION DE KLUYVEROMYCES MARXIANUS CONTAMINANTES DE ALIMENTOS. LA PRESENTE INVENCION PROPORCIONA UN METODO QUE ES ESPECIFICO PARA DETERMINAR Y ES CAPAZ DE ENUMERAR LA LEVADURA KLUYVEROMYCES MARXIANUS. EL METODO IMPLICA LA ADICCION A UN MEDIO DE CULTIVO BASE PARA LEVADURAS DE UN SUSTRATO CROMOGENICO, DE UN SUSTRATO INDUCTOR Y UN ANTIBIOTICO INHIBIDOR DEL DESARROLLO BACTERIANO. CUANDO DICHO MEDIO ES SOMETIDO A LA ACTIVIDAD BE-GALACTOSIDASA DE KLUYVEROMYCES MARXIANUS, PRODUCE UNA COLORACION AZUL EXCLUSIVAMENTE EN LAS COLONIAS DE ESTAS LEVADURAS. LA UTILIDAD DEL MEDIO DE CULTIVO OBJETO DE LA INVENCION ES LA DETECCION DE LA LEVADURA KLUYVEROMYCES MARXIANUS EN LA INDUSTRIA ALIMENTARIA.
