Abstract

The invention applies especially to the transportation of fresh fish and foods. It is characterized in that it has a container 1 whose base consists of two planes which are slightly inclined towards the centre, where they converge. One of the side walls of smaller surface area has an orifice 7 in line with the area of convergence of the inclined walls of the base, which is capable of being closed off by means of a valve 5 determined by a bush fitted into the orifice and a housing arranged with the possibility of rotation in the bush, being equipped with orifices so that, upon opening the valve, the liquid released by the product to be transported is emptied away without it being necessary to handle the product. The lid 2 has a structure which allows it to be stacked independently, like the containers 1, occupying less space during transportation or storage when the container is empty.
