Abstract
EN MUESTRAS BIOLOGICAS PUEDEN DETECTARSE OXIDO NITRICO, NITROSONIUM, S-NITROSOTIOLES Y S-NITROSO-PROTEINAS, USANDO UN METODO QUE IMPLICA LA INYECCION DE MUESTRAS DENTRO DE UNA CELULA DE FOTOLISIS, CON ANTERIORIDAD A LA DETECCION DE QUIMIOLUMINISCENCIA GENERADA POR LA REACCION ENTRE EL OXIDO NITRICO Y EL OZONO. PARA DETECTAR S-NITROSOTIOLES Y S-NITROSO-PROTEINAS, SE SOMETEN PARTES ALICUOTAS SEPARADAS DE LAS MISMAS MUESTRAS A UN TRATAMIENTO PREVIO CON ION MERCURIOSO, Y UN AGENTE DE PRECIPITACION DE PROTEINAS, RESPECTIVAMENTE, Y SE COMPARAN LAS SEÑALES DEL OXIDO NITRICO RESULTANTE CON LAS GENERADAS POR LAS MUESTRAS NO TRATADAS. ESTE METODO ES UTIL PARA CONTROLAR LOS NIVELES DE LA BIOACTIVIDAD DEL OXIDO NITRICO EN LOS ESTADOS BIOLOGICOS NORMALES Y EN LOS DE ENFERMEDAD, TALES COMO SHOCK SEPTICO, ATEROSCLEROSIS, TROMBOSIS, HIPERHOMOCISTEINEMIA, HIPERTENSION PULMONAR, MALIGNIDAD, INFECCIONES Y TRASTORNOS DEL SISTEMA NERVIOSO CENTRAL.
