Abstract
LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN ELECTRODO DE FONDO PARA UN RECIPIENTE METALURGICO ACCIONADO CON CORRIENTE DIRECTA, QUE CONSISTE EN DOS PARTES ELABORADAS DE MATERIAL DIFERENTE, QUE PUEDEN SER INTERCONECTADAS. SE APLICA UN REFRIGERANTE SOBRE LA PARTE DISPUESTA FUERA DEL FONDO DEL RECIPIENTE Y DE FORMA GIRADA HACIA EL EXTERIOR DEL RECIPIENTE, MIENTRAS QUE LA PARTE GIRADA HACIA EL INTERIOR DEL RECIPIENTE SE DISEÑA COMO UNA PARTE DE DESGASTE Y SE DISPONE EN CONTACTO CON EL METAL FUNDIDO DENTRO DEL RECIPIENTE. LA PARTE DE DESGASTE CONSISTE EN UN COMPONENTE ELABORADO PRINCIPALMENTE DE UN MATERIAL METALICO COMPARABLE A LA MASA FUNDIDA Y DE UN COMPONENTE ELABORADO DE UN MATERIAL RESISTENTE A ALTA TEMPERATURA.
