EL PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN ALMACENAR EL RESIDUO DE ALPECHIN PROCEDENTE DE LOS MOLINOS DE TRITURACION DE LA ACEITUNA PARA LA OBTENCION DE ACEITE, EN UNA FOSA (1) DE GRAN DIAMETRO Y DE ESCASA PROFUNDIDAD, EN LA QUE TIENE LUGAR LA SEDIMENTACION DE UN ELEVADO PORCENTAJE DE ESE RESIDUO DE ALPECHIN, OBTENIENDOSE UNA MASA SEMIFANGOSA (6) POR ENCIMA DE LA CUAL QUEDA FLOTANDO UNA MASA DE AGUA (9), SIENDO LA MASA SEMIFANGOSA (6) EXTRAIDA POR CUALQUIER SISTEMA CONVENCIONAL Y SITUADA EN UN LUGAR PARA SU SECADO Y ENDURECIMIENTO, PARA OBTENER UN PRODUCTO SOLIDO UTILIZABLE COMO PRODUCTO COMBUSTIBLE EN SUSTITUCION DE OTROS PRODUCTOS TALES COMO LA MADERA, CARBON Y SIMILARES, PUDIENDOSE UTILIZAR IGUALMENTE COMO ABONO PARA LA AGRICULTURA E INCLUSO COMO AISLANTE Y PROTECTOR PARA EL MANTENIMIENTO DE LA HUMEDAD EN DETERMINADO TIPO DE PLANTACIONES.
