EL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA OBTENER N-METIL-3-(P-TRIFLUOROMETILFENOXI)-3-FENILPROPILAMINA, DE FORMULA GENERAL (I), SE BASA EN LA REACCION DE ESTERIFICACION DE LOS COMPUESTOS DE FORMULA GENERAL (II) CON 1-HALO-4-TRIFLUORO-METILBENCENO, SIENDO P UN GRUPO PROTECTOR DE AMINAS, TAL COMO ALQUILO O ARILALQUILO. LA REACCION SE VERIFICA EN PRESENCIA DE UN DISOLVENTE POLAR APROTICO Y DE UN CATALIZADOR COMO UNA SAL DE AMONIO CUATERNARIO.
