Abstract

The invention concerns a remote data-acquisition system for use by consumers in buildings. Associated with the sensors (10) on a particular storey are antenna segments (16) which are each connected by a coupling unit (18) to a common antenna line (22). Connected to this antenna line is a single receiver-electronics unit (32) whose output is connected to a single central processing unit (38). This ensures reliable acquisition of the transmitted signals by the individual sensors without the need for complex equipment.
