A CONTROLLER ALLOWS THE SYSTEM TO OPTIONALLY APPROPRIATE THE CAPACITY OF THE CENTRAL SOURCE OF THE ARTIFICIAL ATMOSPHERE BASED ON THE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS RELATED TO THE CONTAINERS ADJUSTED TO THE SAME, AND THE RANGE OF THE SOURCE OF PRIORITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH A JARIARITY OF PRIORITY. FROM ARTIFICIAL ATMOSPHERE TO INDIVIDUAL CONTAINERS. IN A PREFERRED ASSEMBLY, THE CENTRAL SOURCE INCLUDES AT LEAST ONE DISTRIBUTION CONTROL UNIT THAT WORKS TO SELECTIVELY DIRECT ARTIFICIAL ATMOSPHERE GAS TO INDIVIDUAL CONTAINERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HIERARCHICAL AWARD OF THE SYSTEM. THE SAME CONTAINERS ARE USED TO IMPLEMENT A METHOD FOR UNIFORMLY CONTROLLING THE RIPENING OF BANANAS AND OTHER PERISHABLE PRODUCTS OF CROPS TO THEIR DELIVERY DURING TRANSPORT. THE RECENTLY HARVESTED AND EVEN IMMATURE PRODUCTS ARE LOADED IN THE CONTAINERS AND ARE COOLED TO A TEMPERATURE APPROXIMATELY IN THE INTERVAL OF 57 TO 70 DEGREES F. ONCE THE PRODUCTS ARE STABILIZED AT THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE, INCLUDING A SEASONAL ARTIFICIAL ATMOSPHERE IMMEDIATELY AT INTERNAL VOLUME TO UNIFORMLY START MATURATION OF ALL LOADED PRODUCTS. ONCE MATURATION HAS STARTED, ETHYLENE IS REDUCED WITHIN THE INTERNAL VOLUME, DISPLACING IT WITH A LOW OXYGEN ARTIFICIAL ATMOSPHERE, WHICH IS KEPT WITHIN THE CONTAINER DURING STORAGE, TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCTS. BEFORE UNLOADING MATURE PRODUCTS FROM THE CONTAINER, THE ATMOSPHERE WITHIN THE INTERNAL VOLUME RETURNS TO NORMAL CONDITIONS. ONCE THE CHARGED PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN STABILIZED AT THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE AND EXPOSED TO THE ETHYLENE ATMOSPHERE TO INITIATE MATURATION PROCEDURES, ADJUSTMENTS IN THE TEMPERATURE AND ARTIFICIAL ATMOSPHERE MAY BE USED WITHIN THE INTERNAL VOLUME "SINT IT IS DESIRED AND SO PROVIDED RIPE PRODUCTS FOR DELIVERY WITHIN A SCHEDULED TIME INTERVAL.
