UN METODO Y APARATO PARA DESACTIVAR EL EFECTO DE SEÑALES DE PROTECCION CONTRA COPIAS DE VIDEO UTILIZANDO LAS DIFERENCIAS EXISTENTES ENTRE LAS CARACTERISTICAS DE LOS CIRCUITOS DE TELEVISION Y DE VCR. LAS SEÑALES DE PROTECCION CONTRA COPIAS INCLUYEN IMPULSOS PSEUDO-SINCRONIZADORES Y/O IMPULSOS DE AGC AÑADIDOS EN EL INTERVALO DE EXTINCION DE VIDEO. EL METODO ALTERA EL NIVEL DE LA SEÑAL DE VIDEO DURANTE EL INTERVALO DE EXTINCION VERTICAL, EJ., DESPLAZAMIENTO DE NIVEL, PARA HACER QUE LAS SEÑALES DE PROTECCION CONTRA COPIAS NO SEAN EFECTIVAS PARA EVITAR QUE UN VCR HAGA COPIAS NO AUTORIZADAS. EL APARATO INCLUYE UN SEPARADOR DE SINCRONISMO (44) PARA DETECTAR EL INTERVALO DE EXTINCION VERTICAL, CIRCUITOS GENERADORES DE IMPULSOS (58, 60, 62, 72, 74) PARA PRODUCIR IMPULSOS CON UNA DURACION PREDETERMINADA DURANTE ESE INTERVALO Y UN CIRCUITO SUMADOR (88, 90, 92) PARA SUMAR LOS IMPULSOS PREDETERMINADOS Y LAS SEÑALES DE PROTECCION CONTRA COPIAS PARA DESPLAZAR SU NIVEL. UN METODO ALTERNATIVO AUMENTA LA FRECUENCIA EFECTIVA DE LAS SEÑALES DE PROTECCION CONTRA COPIAS DURANTE EL INTERVALO DE EXTINCION VERTICAL PARA OBTENER UNA ATENUACION Y/O FILTRADO DE BAJO PASO EN EL CIRCUITO DE VCR CON LO QUE SE CONSIGUE QUE LAS SEÑALES NO SEAN EFECTIVAS PARA IMPEDIR LA COPIA.
