Abstract

A sealed electrical light housing has a 'U'-shaped section (12) that is fixed to a surface. The light transmitting cover (44) encloses the unit by clipping into position. The housing has a formed section (24) along both sides that has inset sealing strips of flexible material. The edges of the cover are curved (16) and engage the formed lip (25) on the housing. When pressure is applied the assembly has sufficient flexibility to deflect to allow engagement. <IMAGE>
