ENTRE LOS PARES DE LAS PLACAS DE VIDRIO SE DISPONE DE UNA CAVIDAD EN DONDE ESTA LOCALIZADA UNA CAPA PROTECTORA DE POLISILICATO ENDURECIDO PRODUCIDO A PARTIR DE UN SILICATO DE METAL ALCALINO Y AL MENOS UN AGENTE DE ENDURECIMIENTO, SIENDO LA RELACION MOLAR DE DIOXIDO DE SILICONA CON RELACION AL OXIDO DE METAL ALCALINO EN EL POLISILICATO MAYOR DE 4 : 1. EL COMPUESTO DE PARTIDA UTILIZADO PARA LA PRODUCCION DEL SILICATO ES UN MATERIAL DE FLUJO LIBRE CON UN CONTENIDO EN AGUA DE HASTA 60 % Y PUEDE SER VERTIDO DENTRO DE LA CAVIDAD ENTRE LOS DOS ELEMENTOS SOPORTE.
