Abstract

Una cubierta neumática para cargas pesadas que tiene una composición de caucho para la banda de rodadura que comprende negro de humo que tiene un área superficial específica de adsorción de nitrógeno, la cual se determina midiendo la cantidad de adsorción de nitrógeno, del orden de 100 a 160 m{sup,2 /g, y una cantidad de absorción de aceite (ftalato de dibutilo) (DBP) de 80 a 130 ml/100 g, y sílice que tiene un área superficial específica de adsorción de nitrógeno de 210 a 260 m{sup,2 /g y una cantidad de absorción de aceite de 200 a 260 ml/100 g, en un contenido total de 40 a 70 partes en peso, en 100 partes en peso de material de caucho de isopreno, en donde la composición de caucho contiene la sílice en una cantidad de 3 a 15 partes en peso respecto del contenido total.
