Abstract
Promotores de ganes sHSP modificados para su expresión específica en semillas y uso en plantas transgénicas. Se describe como puede modificaras el promotor del gen de girasol Ha Hspl7.7 G4 y obtenemos ganes quiméricos. Estos ganes mantienen su expresión en la fase de la maduración de la semilla, y debido a las modificaciones introducidas en la secuencias reguladoras, no se expresan durante la desecación del embrión ni responden a choques térmicos en plantas transgénicas. Las modificaciones del promotor mejoran los posibles usos de dicho gen, o de otros que contengan dichas secuencias reguladoras alteradas. Los promotores se aplica en la agricultura, y tienen un uso potencial en la obtención de semillas modificadas mediante técnicas de ingeniería genética.
