DICHOS CATALIZADORES CONSISTEN EN UN POLIMERO QUE CONTIENE GRUPOS DE ACIDO SULFONICO EN LOS QUE LOS ATOMOS DE CARBONO EN POSICION ALFA Y BETA RESPECTO AL ACIDO SULFONICO ESTAN PERFLUORADOS O UNIDOS A GRUPOS PERFLUOROALQUILO. DICHO POLIMERO CONTIENE ASIMISMO GRANDES CANTIDADES DE ATOMOS DE HIDROGENO UNIDOS A ATOMOS DE CARBONO. LOS POLIETERES RESULTANTES SON UTILES COMO MONOMEROS Y EN ADHESIVOS.
