Abstract

The support surface of the footwear optionally includes antiseptic, fungicidal and/or soapy materials 7 which are gradually released during bathing, the porous nature of the material 1 allowing discharge of the water and dissolved materials. The footwear is applicable for bath tubs and showers, in order to prevent slipping during bathing.
