Abstract
Conectadores de derivación para aplicar a una tubería, preferiblemente una tubería de plástico, incluyen un conjunto de hoja rotativo, roscado dentro de un manguito recibido de manera no rotativa dentro de un alojamiento o caja de tal manera que la rotación del conjunto de hoja hace que corte un trozo cilíndrico de la tubería a la que se sujeta el alojamiento. Las caras opuestas del manguito están expuestas a la presión del fluido dentro de la tubería, con lo que se produce un equilibrio de fuerzas que elimina esencialmente la fluencia o deslizamiento transversal. Además, la sección de sujeción del conectador tiene formada un ánima que es acoplable con un anillo de obturación recibido alrededor del conjunto de hoja rotativo y que es de longitud suficiente para absorber cualquier deslizamiento axial, con lo que es posible que el conjunto de hoja sirva también como una válvula. (Figura 1)
