SE CONOCE LA UTILIZACION DE UN DETECTOR DE CORRIENTE DE FLUJO UNIDIRECCIONAL (SCD) EN UN SISTEMA PARA SUPERVISAR LA CONDICION DE CARGA DE UN FLUIDO DE MUESTRA Y PARA CONTROLAR LA ADICION DE UN AGENTE DE FLOCULACION/COAGULACION. ADEMAS SE SABE DE LA DISPOSICION DEL SCD PARA SUPERVISAR UNA MUESTRA TOMADA DEL SUMINISTRO DE FLUIDO, Y PARA CONECTAR EL SCD EN UN CICLO DE RETROALIMENTACION PARA CONTROLAR DIRECTAMENTE LA DOSIFICACION DEL AGENTE DE FLOCULACION EN EL SUMINISTRO DE MUESTRA. LAS DIFICULTADES SURGEN EN SISTEMAS COMPLEJOS, Y UN CONTROL INADECUADO DE LA DOSIFICACION DE AGENTE DE FLOCULACION RESULTA DEL EFECTO DE QUE EL AJUSTE DE DOSIFICACION ES ECLIPSADO POR OTRAS INFLUENCIAS DE CARGA VARIABLES.
