Abstract

Procedimiento de recuperación de aluminio a partir de escorias de aluminio, que dispone de un horno rotativo recubierto interiormente de refractario y se procede a: por medio de una oxicombustión se eleva la temperatura interior del horno a 700ºC a continuación se introduce en el horno, como carga, escoria de aluminio; cuando la temperatura de la carga supera los 500ºC y sin alcanzar los 565ºC aproximadamente, se suprime la fuente de oxicombustión y se la sustituye por plasma en atmósfera inerte como fuente energética hasta alcanzar una temperatura en la carga de 700 - 800ºC que se mantiene. De aplicación en la industria metalúrgica del aluminio.
