Abstract
Procedimiento para la fabricación de pavimentos y revestimientos cerámicos pulidos, cuyas piezas constan de una parte 1 de material de cubierta adecuada para pulir, dispuesta sobre otra parte 2 de material básico que constituye el soporte de la anterior, y que comprende una serie de fases, las cuales consisten básicamente en un acondicionamiento de las materias primas 3, las cuales en la parte soporte 2 consisten en una combinación variable de arcillas naturales y minerales, mientras que en la parte 1 a pulir consisten en una cuidada selección y combinación de materias primas naturales coloreada o no, que después de la cocción sean aptas para pulir; un prensado 4 mediante una prensa de doble carga en seco, que permite hacer la distinción entre las dos partes 1, 2 de la pieza, facilitando su obtención; un secado 5 en unos secaderos adecuados; un decorado 6 opcional normalmente efectuado mediante sales solubles que penetran en la superficie de la pieza; una cocción 7 en un horno de rodillos;y un pulido 8 mediante métodos de abrasión. **FIGURA**
