EL APARATO INCLUYE UN RECINTO CERRADO, AL MENOS UN MATERIAL DE TAMIZ DENTRO DEL RECINTO, UN ORIFICIO DE ENTRADA CONFIGURADO PARA CONDUCIR UN FLUIDO A TRAVES DEL MATERIAL DE TAMIZ, Y UN ORIFICIO DE SALIDA PARA RECIBIR EL FLUIDO DESDE EL MATERIAL DE TAMIZ Y CONDUCIR EL FLUIDO HACIA EL EXTERIOR DEL RECINTO. UN MATERIAL QUE VA A SER TAMIZADO SE COLOCA EN EL INTERIOR DEL RECINTO, O SE CONDUCE A SU INTERIOR. EL MATERIAL TAMIZADO SE HACE ENTRAR EN EL FLUIDO. EL FLUIDO CONDUCE LOS PEDAZOS DEL MATERIAL A TRAVES DEL MATERIAL DE TAMIZ Y HACIA EL EXTERIOR DEL RECINTO PARA SU POSTERIOR SEPARACION DEL FLUIDO. LAS REALIZACIONES PREFERIDAS INCLUYEN UNA SERIE DE MATERIALES DE TAMIZ DE TAMAÑO DE PORO DECRECIENTE, QUE NORMALMENTE SE ENCUENTRA EN EL INTERVALO DE DIEZ A MIL MICROMETROS DE DIAMETRO.
