Abstract

Improved fixing system for dental prostheses consisting of a trans-epithelial pillar (1), supported by an implant (4), shaped like a cylindrical peg, which is used to fix it to the jaw bone structure, characterised by the fact said pillar sits on the implant. It is fixed using a subjection screw (2), lodged in a passage inside the pillar, which is fixed to a thread on the head of the implant. This is pressed by a cylindrical counter nut (3), which is hexagonally perforated along the length, with a thread running along the periphery, the aforementioned inside passage is threaded and the dental prosthesis is connected to the piece to be substituted using this. This system makes it possible to substitute individual or multiple pieces by means of a simple operation but ensuring high durability.
