Abstract
System for transforming energy from ocean waves into electrical energy.The system is designed to utilise the movement of ocean waves and transforming it into a rotation movement capable of moving a generator that produces electrical energy. Said system can be mounted in any appropriate location in a coastal area it is comprised of a support structure (1) on which a mast (3) is placed whose lower end is next to a buoy (2), that is partially submerged over the sea water, so that the movements of the waves are transmitted through the buoy (2) to the mast (3) moving the latter in an ascending/descending direction its movements are transmitted to traction wheels (7) that, with a mechanism or gear box, transmit to an inertia wheel (15) and from the latter to a generator (19) or other device that it is designed to activate.
