LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO DE TRATAMIENTO DE LODOS DE AGUAS RESIDUALES QUE COMPRENDE AL MENOS UN METAL PROCEDENTE DE UN COAGULANTE UTILIZADO EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE AGUAS RESIDUALES Y FOSFORO Y METALES PESADOS PARA RECUPERAR AL MENOS DICHO METAL Y EL FOSFORO Y DESCARGAR LOS METALES PESADOS. EN DICHO METODO EL LODO DE AGUAS RESIDUALES SE ACIDIFICA PARA DISOLVER LOS METALES CONTENIDOS EN EL LODO, PRODUCIENDOSE UNA SOLUCION DE LODO ACIDIFICADA QUE CONTIENE AL MENOS EL 1 % EN PESO DE AL MENOS UN METAL A RECUPERAR. EN UNA PRIMERA ETAPA DE PRECIPITACION, EL PH DE DICHA SOLUCION DE LODO ACIDIFICADA SE AUMENTA PARA PRECIPITAR AL MENOS UN METAL A RECUPERAR EN FORMA DE FOSFATO Y A CONTINUACION SE SEPARA EL PRECIPITADO DE FOSFATO, QUEDANDO UNA SOLUCION QUE CONTIENE LOS METALES PESADOS. EN UNA SEGUNDA ETAPA DE PRECIPITACION, SE AUMENTA EL PH DE DICHA SOLUCION QUE CONTIENE LOS METALES PESADOS Y, SI ES NECESARIO, SE AÑADE UN AGENTE QUIMICO APROPIADO PARA PRECIPITAR LOS METALES PESADOS, DESCARGANDOSE A CONTINUACION DICHO PRECIPITADO.
