EN EL PROCESO PARA LA PREPARACION DE FLUIDOS DE DIALISIS CONTENIENDO BICARBONATO PARA HEMODIALISIS, HAY UNA POSIBILIDAD PARA LA ADAPTACION DE LAS ESTRUCTURAS DEL FLUIDO DE DIALISIS, A DIFERENTES EXIGENCIAS TERAPEUTICAS, LO QUE SE CONSIGUE USANDO UN CONCENTRADO BASE DE ESTRUCTURA UNITARIA ESTANDARIZADA QUE EN SU MAYOR PARTE CUANTITATIVA CONTENGA PRINCIPALMENTE CLORURO DE SODIO Y BICARBONATO SODICO. EL CONCENTRADO HA DE PROPORCIONAR UNA CONCENTRACION DE IONES SODIO EN EL LIMITE INFERIOR DEL RANGO FISIOLOGICO, Y HA DE CONTENER UN CONCENTRADO ADICIONAL ELEGIDO PARA CADA CASO, QUE PROPORCIONE EL RESTO DE LOS IONES SODIO Y ADEMAS SALES DE POTASIO, CALCIO Y MAGNESIO Y GLUCOSA EN DOSIS INDIVIDUALMENTE ADAPTADAS. EL CONCENTRADO ADICIONAL INDIVIDUAL ES LIQUIDO ENTRE 120 Y 250 VECES, DE MODO QUE PARA UN TRATAMIENTO DE DIALISIS BASTA UNA CANTIDAD DE TIPICA DE 1 LITRO, FACILMENTE MANIPULABLE.
