Abstract

Aparato de reacción para hidrogenar el óxido de carbono en catalizadores suspendidos en un medio líquido constituído por un depósito cilíndrico elevado y provisto de dispositivos refrigerantes para evacuar del interior el calor de reacción que se divide en la mayor parte de su longitud en torres verticales abiertas por arriba y por abajo y separadas entre sí herméticamente al líquido de modo que las torres formen un paquete bajo cuyo borde inferior se deja libre una cámara común sobre el fondo del distribuidor de gases para el medio líquido y por encima de su borde inferior se deja libre también una cámara gaseosa común para el gas final caracterizado porque la cámara de reacción por debajo del borde inferior del paquete de torres se estrecha hacia un orificio único dispuesto axilmente para la entrada del gas y cuya distancia al borde inferior del paquete de torres es por lo menos tan grande o mayor que el diámetro de la cámara cilíndrica de reacción.
