Electrodo para procesos electroquímicos y procedimiento para su fabricación. El electrodo comprende un sustrato de un metal de válvula eléctricamente conductor y un recubrimiento electrocatalítico fuertemente adherido al metal base que comprende una mezcla íntima de óxidos de rutenio, iridio y titanio en donde la relación molar de rutenio a iridio está comprendida en el intervalo de 66/34 a 75/25 y en donde la relación molar de rutenio más iridio frente a titanio dentro del intervalo de 40/60 a 30/70.
