Abstract

Método y aparato para generar automáticamente información para el asesoramiento a pacientes de farmacias, que comprende los pasos de capturar un registro de datos perteneciente a una transacción de farmacia según se transmite a una impresora de farmacia; comparar los componentes seleccionados del registro de datos capturado con los componentes correspondientes de una base de datos, para determinar los contenidos de un mensaje asociado con valores particulares de los componentes de datos; construir un mensaje de salida basado en el resultado del paso de comparación; y transmitir el mensaje de salida hacia una impresora en la farmacia, para imprimir un mensaje de asesoramiento adecuado para los valores particulares de los componentes de datos que definen la transacción, que incluyen cualquier combinación de la identidad del producto suministrado, edad y sexo del paciente, la identidad de una parte principalmente responsable del pago a la farmacia de la transacción.
