Abstract

Diseño de un balón compacto. La invención tiene por objeto el diseño del balón más compacto obtenido partiendo de formas poliédricas icosaédricas. El balón obtenido posee un diseño basado en el icosaedro en el que se han eliminado los vértices por truncamiento a una distancia medida sobre la arista del icosaedro, tal que el icosaedro truncado obtenido posee una esfera única tangente interiormente a las caras del poliedro, lográndose un cuerpo de la máxima redondez posible. De aplicación en la construcción de pelotas y balones para cualquier deporte.
