UN INSTRUMENTO PARA DETECTAR SEÑALES OPTICAS EN FIBRAS OPTICAS DE VARIOS DIAMETROS INCLUYE UN PISTON ADAPTADO PARA IMPULSAR UNA PARTE DE UNA FIBRA OPTICA CONTRA UN DETECTOR OPTICO, MOVIENDOSE EL PISTON ENTRE POSICIONES DE APERTURA Y CIERRE, Y TENIENDO AL MENOS DOS SUPERFICIES DE PISTON, UNA QUE DEFINE UNA PRIMERA GEOMETRIA DE CURVATURA DE PRECISION ADAPTADA PARA IMPULSAR UNA FIBRA DE UN PRIMER DIAMETRO CONTRA EL DETECTOR, Y OTRA QUE DEFINE UNA SEGUNDA GEOMETRIA DE CURVATURA DE PRECISION ADAPTADA PARA IMPULSAR UNA FIBRA DE UN SEGUNDO DIAMETRO CONTRA EL DETECTOR.
