Abstract
Perfeccionamiento en, o relativos a, la fundición de materiales metalíferos, cuyo materiales contienen substanciales valores a la vez de plomo y zinc, haciéndose la fundición con material carbonoso en un alto horno, caracterizados porque la carga y/o el aire insuflado en el horno son precalentados en un grado tal que se mantiene un promedio de atmósfera reductora a través de la totalidad de la carga en fusión a una temperatura lo suficientemente alta para reducir y volatilizar zinc y porque la proporción de material carbonoso en la carga está controlada para no ser substancialmente mayor a la requerida si los compuestos de plomo fueran omitidos de la carga.
