La media comprende una parte del cuerpo que se distingue por una cinturilla elástica en forma de aro sin costuras que se prolonga en una parte dotada de bordes inferiores frontal y posterior curvados, con la concavidad dirigida hacia abajo y alas laterales de unión curvadas con la convexidad dirigida hacia abajo, estando unidos los bordes inferiores de dichas zonas curvadas cóncavas y convexas a una pieza tubular constitutiva de las piernas, por cosido de dichos bordes en los bordes de una abertura longitudinal realizada en la parte central de la pieza de las piernas, en disposición opuesta a una zona de refuerzo realizada por tejido mediante mallas retenidas y sin costura en la parte opuesta al corte de adaptación de la pieza del cuerpo a la pieza de las piernas. Proporciona mayor comodidad y adaptabilidad.
