SEGUN LA INVENCION, UN GENERADOR DE VAPOR (1) COMPRENDE AL MENOS UNA SUPERFICIE CONTINUA DE CALENTAMIENTO (8, 10) DISPUESTA EN UN CANAL POR DONDE CIRCULA GAS CALIENTE EN DIRECCION PRACTICAMENTE HORIZONTAL. DICHA SUPERFICIE DE CALENTAMIENTO CONSISTE EN UNA SERIE DE TUBOS PARALELOS Y CASI VERTICALES (13, 14) QUE SE USAN PARA HACER CIRCULAR UN FLUIDO, Y ESTA DISEÑADA DE MANERA QUE EL FLUIDO QUE CIRCULA POR UN TUBO (13, 14) SE CALIENTE A TEMPERATURA SUPERIOR QUE EL TUBO SIGUIENTE (13, 14) DE LA MISMA SUPERFICIE CONTINUA DE CALENTAMIENTO (8, 10) Y TIENE UN CAUDAL SUPERIOR AL DEL FLUIDO QUE CIRCULA POR EL CITADO TUBO SIGUIENTE (13, 14).
