Abstract
EL METODO DE DIAGNOSIS DETERMINA EL ESTADO DE DETERIORO DE UN SENSOR DE COMPOSICION ESTEQUIOMETRICA DE GASES DE ESCAPE COLOCADO A CONTINUACION DE UN CONVERTIDOR CATALITICO. EL CONVERTIDOR CATALITICO VA MONTADO EN UN COLECTOR DE ESCAPE DE UN MOTOR DE COMBUSTION INTERNA ALIMENTADO CON UNA MEZCLA DE AIRE Y COMBUSTIBLE, MIENTRAS QUE EL SENSOR GENERA UNA SEÑAL DE SALIDA CORRELACIONADA CON LA COMPOSICION ESTEQUIOMETRICA DE LA MEZCLA. EL METODO COMPRENDE LAS FASES DE REGISTRO DE UNA SEÑAL DE TEMPERATURA CORRELACIONADA CON LA TEMPERATURA DEL MOTOR; DETERMINACION DEL REGIMEN DE FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL MOTOR; DETERMINACION DE LA COMPOSICION ESTEQUIOMETRICA DE LA MEZCLA DE AIRE Y COMBUSTIBLE, Y REALIZACION DE UNA DIAGNOSIS EN CALIENTE SI LA SEÑAL DE TEMPERATURA SOBREPASA UN VALOR DE REFERENCIA PREDEFINIDO, EL MOTOR ESTA EN REGIMEN DE RALENTI Y EL SENSOR REGISTRA UNA COMPOSICION ESTEQUIOMETRICA POBRE DE LA MEZCLA. LA DIAGNOSIS EN CALIENTE COMPRENDE LAS FASES DE GENERACION DE SEÑALES DE CONTROL PARA EL MOTORY CALIBRADO DE LA SEÑAL DE SALIDA DEL SENSOR.
