LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN NUEVO PROCESO SELECTIVO PARA PRODUCIR NITRATO DE POTASIO O FOSFATO DE POTASIO DE ALTA PUREZA. DICHO PROCESO UTILIZA UN SUBPRODUCTO DE FERMENTACION O UN SUBPRODUCTO AGRICOLA LIQUIDO, TAL COMO LA MELAZA, LA VINAZA O EL JUGO CONCENTRADO DE PATATA, COMO FUENTE DE POTASIO. EL PROCESO CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES UNITARIAS: (A) CLARIFICACION, (B) INTERCAMBIO IONICO, (C) NEUTRALIZACION, (D) CONCENTRACION, Y (E) CRISTALIZACION. DE FORMA IMPORTANTE, LA PRESENTE INVENCION TAMBIEN SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO PARA PRODUCIR UN INGREDIENTE PARA LA ALIMENTACION ANIMAL CON UN CONTENIDO DE POTASIO REDUCIDO.
