Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación de un aldehido poliénico caracterizado porque se acetaliza el 4-[2'', 6'', 6''- trimetilciclohexen- (1'')-il]-2-metilbuten-(2)-al-(1), porque condensa el 4-[2'', 6'', 6''-trimetilciclohexen-(1''-il]-2-metilbuten-(2)-acetal-(1) formado, en presencia de un agente de condensación ácido, con un éter vinílico, luego con un éter propenílico, y porque se transforma el 8-[2'', 6'', 6''-trimetilciclohexen-(1'')-el]-2,6-dimetilocten-(6)-diéter-(3,5)-acetal-(1) obtenido en 8-[2'', 6'', 6''-trimetilciclohexen-(1'')-il]-2,6-dimetiloctatrien-(2,4,6)-al-(1), por tratamiento con un ácido que provoca una hidrólisis y una eliminación de alcohol, a partir de las posiciones 2,3 y 4,5.
